Resident doctor forum - Thames Valley, London and South East (Palliative Care) & East of England
Location: Microsoft Teams
Date: 2nd December 2024
Time: 1:00pm - 2:00pm
The resident doctor forum (JDF) is an opportunity for resident doctors to come together locally.
The forums currently only apply to colleagues-in-training who are in a placement with less than 10 resident doctors, for example: Public Health, GPST and Palliative Medicine.
It's a chance to speak freely to ensure that views and concerns are represented to management, as well as to share knowledge and ideas about improving their working lives.
The forums look to address concerns pertaining to:
-
Work conditions
-
Working hours
-
Education and training
All to support the work of the Guardian of Safe Working to ensure resident doctors contractual rights are upheld.
Upcoming forum
Hosted by Guardian of Safe Working, Dr Peter Arthur, the forums will take place quarterly in each region via Teams.
The next forum for the Thames Valley, London and South East (Palliative Care) & East of England is taking place on Monday, 2nd December at 1pm.
