Salary Sacrifice Scheme

We are committed to supporting colleagues-in-training with benefits that help reduce everyday costs and support wellbeing throughout training.
Salary sacrifice is an arrangement where eligible colleagues-in-training agree to exchange part of their gross salary for a non-cash benefit. The deduction is taken before tax and National Insurance (NI) contributions are applied, which may reduce the amount of tax and NI you pay.
The amount you save will depend on your individual circumstances, and salary sacrifice arrangements may affect some statutory payments or pension calculations.
We currently offer access to the following schemes:
- Home Electronics Scheme
- Cycle to Work Scheme
- Childcare Support
Home Electronics Scheme

The Home Electronics Scheme is a Salary Sacrifice Scheme delivered in partnership with Fleet Solutions and Currys, providing access to thousands of products for colleagues-in-training. The scheme allows you to spread the cost of products through monthly salary deductions.
Products available
Products available through the scheme include:
- Laptops
- Tablets
- Desktop computers
- Televisions
- Domestic appliances
- Audio and entertainment equipment
How it works?
- Register your account using your work email address and payroll information

Childcare Support

The government introduced the Tax-Free Childcare Scheme to support working families with childcare costs.
Unlike the Childcare Voucher Scheme, Tax-Free Childcare does not rely on your employer to set up a scheme and is available to those who are self-employed.
The government contributes 20% of childcare costs, with the maximum help set at £2,000 per year per child (or £4,000 if the child is disabled).
How Do I Know If I’m Eligible?
To be eligible for Tax-Free Childcare:
- Your child must be under 12 years old (or under 17 if disabled)
- You must be working and, if you have a partner, they must also be working
- You must not already be in receipt of Tax Credits or Universal Credit
- Your or your partner’s annual earnings must not exceed £100,000
Further information on the Tax-Free Childcare Scheme is available through the government website.
