HR Business Partner Anne Potter wins KPMG star award!

Our HR Business Partner, Anne Potter has been awarded the KPMG star award at the Healthcare People Management Association (HPMA) Excellence in People award ceremony.

Anne was recognised at this month’s HPMA event for her work in supporting neurodiverse colleagues-in-training. She has played a key role in designing and implementing bespoke resources, including a dedicated training session for educators.

Anne said: “It came as a surprise but I’m incredibly thankful to be recognised for this award. The work that went into my being nominated was in response to a greater need and understanding of neurodiversity in medical training and the impact that has. On setting up a neurodiverse working group with medical staff, we produced a dedicated toolkit and website section that looked to explain, guide, and support our colleagues-in-training.

“The awards night was really good, and it was great to be in a space with other HR professionals from different NHS trusts across the country.”
