Junior doctor forum - East, West Midlands and Yorkshire & Humber

Location: Microsoft Teams

Date: 9th September 2024

Time: 4:00pm - 5:00pm

The junior doctor forum (JDF) is an opportunity for junior doctors to come together locally.

The forums currently only apply to colleagues-in-training who are in a placement with less than 10 trainees, for example: Public Health, GPST and Palliative Medicine.

It's a chance to speak freely to ensure that views and concerns are represented to management, as well as to share knowledge and ideas about improving their working lives.

The forums look to address concerns pertaining to:

  • Work conditions
  • Working hours
  • Education and training

All to support the work of the Guardian of Safe Working to ensure junior doctors contractual rights are upheld.

Upcoming forum

Hosted by Guardian of Safe Working, Dr Peter Arthur, the forums will take place quarterly in each region via Teams.

The next forum for East, West Midlands and Yorkshire & Humber is taking place on Monday, 9th September at 4pm.
