St Helens and Knowsley NHS Trust - new name change

St Helens and Knowsley Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and Southport and Ormskirk Hospital NHS Trust will be coming together to create a new organisation on Saturday 1st July 2023.
Our new Trust will be called Mersey and West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (MWL) and will officially launch on 1st July 2023.
The change of name will have no significant impact on key stakeholders including our colleagues-in-training currently employed by StHK Lead Employer. The StHK Lead Employer team will continue to support you and there will be no change to our day to day structure or processes.
On day one we will continue, as we do today, delivering the Lead Employer service, and there will be very little change. The main change you will notice will be the inclusion of a new Trust logo on documentation and our website bearing our new Trust name, in addition to our service being referred to MWL Lead Employer instead of StHK Lead Employer.
