S.A.D - improving symptoms with physical activity
Location: Microsoft Teams
Date: 25th January 2024
Time: 1:30pm - 2:30pm
Virtual wellbeing session open to all!
Our Health, Work and Wellbeing team are running a virtual session on at 1.30pm on Thursday 25th January focusing on how to minimise potential Seasonal Affective Disorder (S.A.D) symptoms.
Not everyone experiences S.A.D, but it's a type of depression that usually happens at the same time of year. It’s thought that changes during autumn and winter, such as fewer hours of daylight, can negatively impact your mood. The darker days can disrupt your body’s internal ‘clock’ and affect the parts of your brain that make mood-regulating hormones, such as serotonin and melatonin.
